Welcome to the FreedHub Beta Program!

Thank you for joining our beta testing program. These terms are in addition to our standard Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

1. Beta Program Overview

The FreedHub Beta Program is a limited testing program designed to gather feedback and refine our platform before the official launch. By participating, you help us build a better product for the freelancer community.

1.1 Program Objectives

  • Test core functionality and user experience
  • Gather feedback on features and workflows
  • Identify and resolve bugs and issues
  • Validate product-market fit
  • Refine the platform based on real-world usage

2. Beta User Limitations

Current Beta Restrictions

  • Maximum 50 total users: Beta access is limited to 50 freelancers
  • 1 active project per user: Each beta user can have only 1 active project at a time
  • Archived projects don't count: You can archive completed projects and create new ones
  • All features available: Beta users have access to all planned features

3. Beta User Responsibilities

3.1 Feedback Requirements

As a beta user, you agree to:

  • Provide honest and constructive feedback about your experience
  • Report bugs, issues, or problems you encounter
  • Participate in surveys and feedback sessions when requested
  • Test new features and provide usage feedback
  • Respond to communications from the FreedHub team within reasonable timeframes

3.2 Professional Use

  • Use FreedHub for legitimate client projects and feedback collection
  • Maintain professional standards when using the platform with clients
  • Inform clients that FreedHub is in beta testing
  • Represent FreedHub professionally in client interactions

4. Service Availability and Changes

4.1 Service Interruptions

  • Beta services may be temporarily unavailable for updates or maintenance
  • We will provide advance notice when possible, but emergency updates may occur without warning
  • Data backup and recovery may take longer during beta

4.2 Feature Changes

  • Features may be added, modified, or removed during the beta period
  • UI/UX changes may occur based on user feedback
  • We will communicate significant changes to beta users

5. Data and Privacy During Beta

5.1 Beta Data Collection

During the beta period, we may collect additional data including:

  • Detailed usage analytics and user behavior patterns
  • Error logs and technical debugging information
  • Screen recordings or session replays (with consent)
  • Performance metrics and load testing data

5.2 Data Protection

  • All beta data is subject to the same privacy protections as outlined in our Privacy Policy
  • We may retain beta data longer for analysis and improvement purposes
  • No beta data will be shared with third parties without consent

6. Support and Communication

6.1 Beta Support

  • Priority support via email during business hours
  • Direct communication channel with the development team
  • Regular check-ins and feedback sessions
  • Access to beta-specific documentation and resources

6.2 Communication Expectations

  • Beta users may receive regular emails about updates, surveys, and feedback requests
  • We respect your time and will keep communications relevant and valuable
  • You can adjust communication preferences through your account settings

7. Intellectual Property and Feedback

7.1 Feedback Ownership

  • Any feedback, suggestions, or ideas you provide become property of FreedHub
  • We may use your feedback to improve the platform without compensation
  • You will be credited for significant contributions if desired

7.2 Beta Testing Content

  • Screenshots, videos, or other materials created during beta testing may be used for marketing purposes (with consent)
  • Case studies and success stories may be developed from beta usage

8. Pricing and Payment

8.1 Free Beta Access

  • FreedHub is completely free during the beta period
  • No payment information is required for beta access
  • All features are available at no cost to beta users

8.2 Post-Beta Pricing

  • Beta users will receive advance notice of pricing plans before public launch
  • Special pricing or grandfathered plans may be offered to beta users
  • No commitment to paid plans is required during beta

9. Beta Program Termination

9.1 Program End

  • The beta program will end when we launch the public version
  • Beta users will be notified at least 30 days before program termination
  • Transition plans to the public version will be provided

9.2 Individual Termination

  • Beta access may be revoked for violations of these terms
  • Users may leave the beta program at any time
  • Data export options will be provided upon request

10.1 Beta User Benefits

  • First access to all new features and updates
  • Direct influence on product development
  • Potential recognition as a founding user
  • Early adopter pricing considerations for post-launch plans

10.2 Community Recognition
